- According to BIC's cargo transportation insurance rules within the territory of Vietnam, the insured risks are summarized as follows:
- Covered losses include:
- Fire or explosion;
- Overturning or wheel failure of road transport vehicles;
- Ship or transportation vehicle grounding, sinking, or capsizing, collision with each other or with external objects excluding water;
- Cargo unloading at a safe port;
- Earthquake, flood, tornado, tsunami, volcanic eruption, or lightning strike;
- Trees falling, bridges collapsing, tunnels, and other architectural structures collapsing;
- Lost transportation vehicles.
- Losses caused by:
- General average loss;
- Throwing cargo overboard or cargo washed away from the vessel.
🅰Insurance for construction/installation machinery and equipment owned by contractors or rented by contractors, such as graders, excavators, crushers, rollers, cranes, hoists, piling machines, compactors
- Insurance for equipment of investors, contractors, machinery and equipment lessors, and lessees
- 'BIC will compensate customers based on the actual loss of insured machinery and equipment in the event of risks occurring within the insurance scope below:

- Damages occurring during operation or non-operation, dismantling, assembly for cleaning, maintenance, or repair purposes but only after successful trial operation.
